I began working at Bay Montessori School in 2000, and worked with Mrs. Pool in the Red Door for four years. Then we relocated to Virginia where I set up my own classroom, called Dogwood Montessori, and hired an assistant. In 2007 we moved back to Maryland and Bay Montessori School. I have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, my Maryland Child Care Credential - Level 6, and my Montessori Primary Credential with American Montessori Society.

On the personal side, I am married to Mr. Mooney, who teaches in the Green Door. We have three beautiful children and an empty nest.

I am a poodle person, as my classroom children can attest. My toy poodle is named Trinity, and she will sometimes visit our classroom to give the children lessons in "Dog Etiquette."

I am very fortunate to be working in the field of my passion. I love working with your children and specifically working with them in a Montessori classroom.
