With hands-on materials, the child is able to explore and experience knowledge through the use of his/her senses. They are designed to develop coordination, observational powers, and perception of the qualities of shapes, dimensions, textures, and colors. |

![]() Playground is the gross motor area of our classroom. It opens up the outdoors, allowing the child to develop a sense of appreciation for the beauty of his/her surroundings. The child is able to explore and develop impressions of the wonders that are offered from his/her natural surroundings. |
